Terry's Profile


Prior to joining RE/MAX Corridor, Inc, Terry was Vice President of Sales with Century 21 Realty in Cedar Rapids, and also was a Broker Manager with ERA Real Estate Professionals. Terry has extensive residential and commercial real estate experience and has superior knowledge of the Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, and the surrounding area. Terry lived in Williamsburg Iowa for a sixteen years and has first hand knowledge of Iowa County; he also worked in Cedar Rapids for fourteen years and has lived in Coralville for the past twelve years.

Terry served as Mayor of Williamsburg for for eight years and was on the Williamsburg City Council for fifteen years, and has served on various county boards. In addition, he served two times as church president and worked on numerous community volunteer projects. He was the main force in bringing the Tanger Outlet Mall to Williamsburg in the 1990's.

His management experience spans over twenty-five years in the appliance industry working for prestigious companies such as Roper Appliance (GE) and Amana Refrigeration. He also worked in the automotive industry in Detroit and for a pharmaceutical equipment manufacturer prior to entering the real estate profession. He holds a life time CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) award from the National Association of Purchasing Management and was voted "Citizen of the Year" in Williamsburg in 1995.

Terry holds a BS Degree in Business Administration from Olivet University, Bradley. Illinois. In addition to holding his real estate broker's license Terry has been awarded Certified Buyer Representative & Accredited Seller Representative educational degrees.
